  2. U.S.-source vs. non-U.S.-source income
  3. Effectively connected income
  4. Fixed, determinable, annual or periodic income
  5. Tax treaties
  6. U.S. ownership of foreign entities
  7. Foreign ownership of U.S. entities

    Become familiar with basic concepts of international taxation. Examine income, investments, business transactions and ownership issues whether occurring in the US or outside the US. Reporting requirements for US citizens and foreign nationals covered.
